At Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries (ABCH), we believe that every home needs a hero. Our house parents and foster parents are everyday heroes who point children at ABCH to the Ultimate Hero—Jesus Christ.

As a Hero Partner, you have the chance to be a hero to children at ABCH too!

HOW IT WORKS

Hero Partners is a monthly giving program. When you become a Hero, you have the opportunity to make recurring donations to the Hero fund of your choice and direct your impact to the most essential needs of children receiving care. 

YOU DETERMINE WHICH MINISTRY TO SUPPORT:

You may also designate that your gift be allocated to our location nearest to you, or to where it is most needed.

Through this fund, you have the satisfaction of knowing that 100% of your monthly gifts are being designated to meet the essential needs that directly impact the children and families we serve in each ministry. These needs include:

  • Food

  • Clothing

  • Medical Care

  • Education

  • Counseling

  • Recreation

  • Christmas & Birthday Gifts

  • Baby needs & daycare assistance

For Example: Your gifts of…

$25 a month can provide necessities like food and cleaning supplies

$50 a month can provide for school activities like band, sports, and field trips

$100 a month can provide car seats or other starter items for foster parents

$250 a month can provide tutoring assistance

$500 a month can provide at least 3 counseling sessions with our sister ministry, Pathways

$1000 a month can cover repairs and maintenance on a Family Care home
