Needs Collection

Statewide, ABCH has 4 categories of needs that every campus can use. Those four categories are:

• Cleaning supplies (any household cleaning item, laundry items, Clorox wipes, lysol, trash bags, sponges, etc.)

• Hygiene items (razors, body wash and shampoo for all ages, feminine products, deodorant, etc.)

• Household items (twin sheets, bath towels, pillows, dish towels, laundry baskets, shower curtain liners, oven mitts, etc.)

• Gift cards (Walmart, Visa, gas stations, Target, restaurants, Old Navy, etc.)

For churches who want to pack boxes/do donation drives, we have discovered that boxes will work best if they are the plastic storage tubs you can find at Walmart or other similar stores. Churches can select one category and only shop for those items, or they can create boxes and include an assortment of items in them.

Note: If gift cards are being donated, keeping them sorted out in a separate place to hand to a staff member is always the best course of action so that no gift cards are lost and donations are properly credited.
