UPDATE, May 6: Results are in!

For the special #GivingTuesdayNow effort, we received more than $22,000 from over 90 generous donors! On behalf of our kids and families, thank you for your support during this unique season!

Join us on Tuesday, May 5, for #GivingTuesdayNow — a special opportunity to financially support our kids and families in addition to our regular December 1 #GivingTuesday event! This international day of giving was created by the official #GivingTuesday organizers to encourage additional help and support to non-profits in this unique season.

You can make your gift here to support our kids and families and also read more below to see some of the ways they have been experiencing this time together!

In this season, we have continued daily in our mission to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services. Our house and foster parents have gone above and beyond to help make this time as creative and special as they can, while also taking regular opportunities to reassure our kids that God is still in control.

Here are a few ways our kids and families have experienced this season . . .

Our kids at the Dothan Campus Care home enjoyed homemade churros and also planted a new vegetable garden with their house parents.

A donation drive-thru/drop-off to supply much needed items for our Family Care moms and kids in Birmingham was a special and timely blessing.

Our girls at the Mobile campus enjoyed a special tea party at home featuring finger foods like sandwiches, cookies, and popcorn.

Our boys in Decatur have kept cool and enjoyed warm weather days by making a homemade slip-n-slide.

In Oxford, kids at our Friendship House have painted, completed puzzles, and played tons of games.

An especially sweet chalk art message in Mobile from one of our girls simply said: “Foster care is miracle”, sharing the continued impact of ministry on the lives of children who come into our care.

Your gifts are impacting lives each day as we provide Christ-centered care to children in need. Please keep our children, house parents, and foster parents in your prayers as they navigate this unique season. Pray for them to see God at work in both big and small ways and for them to continue to find joy at seeing His hand in the many blessings He provides each day.

Thank you for your support!
