Kids Helping Kids

Even though Max Vrocher is just a third grader, he already has a big heart for helping others.

When he visited our Family Care home in Alabaster last year with his class at Westminster Christian School, he took to heart the mission’s slogan of “Every Child Deserves a Home.” He decided that he wanted to help foster kids too. “I just wanted to do something exciting that would help other people,” Max said. He’s been watching his parents train for the Boston Marathon, inspiring him to host a run of his own for the neighborhood kids. He ended up raising $300!

Max’s fundraiser is not only impacting kids just like him—the funds he has raised are reaching families going through hard times.

No matter your age, you can serve hurting kids across Alabama. Whether it’s raising money, donating needed items at a campus near you, or volunteering, you can make a difference.

Not everyone is called to foster, but everyone can help. Learn different ways you can help bring hope to foster children here.
